Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Growth: Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities with government agencies and departments. Formulate strategies to establish and expand our presence in the government sector.

Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key government officials, decision-makers, and stakeholders. Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to network and promote our services.

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand government needs, trends, and upcoming projects. Stay abreast of policy changes and developments that can impact business opportunities.

Proposal Development: Lead the preparation and submission of comprehensive and competitive proposals and bids for government contracts. Ensure compliance with all government tender and procurement processes.

Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with various internal teams, including legal, finance, and technical departments, to ensure that proposals meet both the client’s needs and company standards.

Contract Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with government entities to secure contracts, ensuring favorable terms while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.

Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively managing government contracts and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on business development activities, market trends, and new business opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a similar role, particularly in government services.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials and stakeholders.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
