Job Description

The Business Development Manager (BDM) for our Global Capability Centre (GCC) will be
responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the GCC by identifying and developing new
business opportunities, forging strong client relationships, and ensuring the successful onboarding
and integration of new clients. This role involves strategic planning, market research, and
collaboration with various internal teams to align the GCC’s capabilities with client needs and
market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
o Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
o Analyze market data to develop strategies for market entry and expansion.
o Monitor competitor activities and adapt strategies accordingly.
Business Development and Client Acquisition:
o Identify and target potential clients for the GCC.
o Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new clients.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target
companies.
o Present and demonstrate the value proposition of the GCC to potential clients.
Client Relationship Management:
o Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and
retention.
o Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
o Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
o Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the GCC’s
growth objectives.
o Collaborate with the senior management team to align business development goals
with the overall company strategy.
o Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business development strategies and
initiatives.
Proposal Development and Negotiation:
o Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
o Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts and agreements.
o Ensure that all contractual terms are aligned with the company’s goals and
capabilities.
Project Management and Coordination:
o Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful onboarding and integration
of new clients.
o Oversee the transition of new projects from sales to operations.
o Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of services.

Required Qualifications:
Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
o MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
o Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related
role.
o Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing clients in a GCC or
BPO environment.
Skills:
o Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
o Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
o Strong negotiation and presentation skills
